Kitchen Remodeling in Celina & North DFW

White cabinet kitchen with black hutch and hardwood floor.

Answer first

A kitchen remodel in North DFW typically runs between $25,000 and $45,000 for a mid-range project within the existing layout, with smaller updates — new backsplash, counters, and hardware — starting well below that, and full custom kitchens running higher. Keeping the layout where it is, rather than moving walls or relocating plumbing and gas, is what keeps a kitchen remodel from spiraling. We focus on the finish work that changes how the kitchen looks and feels without tearing the house apart to do it.

01

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in North DFW?

Most within-layout kitchen remodels in North DFW land between $25,000 and $45,000, though targeted updates cost far less and full custom kitchens run higher. What drives the number:

  • Cabinets: the biggest single line item. Refacing solid boxes runs $4,000–$9,000; new stock, semi-custom, and full-custom cabinets climb from there.
  • Counters: laminate is budget-friendly; quartz and stone cost more per square foot.
  • Backsplash: a tile backsplash typically runs $800–$2,500 installed.
  • Layout: keeping cabinets, sink, and appliances roughly in place avoids moving plumbing and electrical — the single biggest saving.
  • Scope: a cosmetic refresh (backsplash, counters, hardware, paint) is a fraction of a full remodel.

02

What's included in a kitchen remodel?

A within-layout kitchen remodel typically covers:

  • Cabinets — new to spec, or refaced if the boxes are solid and the layout works
  • Countertops and a new sink and faucet
  • A tile backsplash set to your design
  • New flooring, if you want it done at the same time
  • Lighting, hardware, paint, and trim
  • Coordination with licensed plumbers and electricians on their trades

We handle the tile, trim, and finish carpentry ourselves — the details that make a kitchen feel custom rather than builder-standard.

03

Can you remodel a kitchen without moving walls?

Yes, and for most kitchens it's the smart move. Moving walls or relocating the sink, gas, and appliances turns a finish project into a construction project and adds significant cost. A huge amount of a kitchen's look comes from what you can change inside the existing layout: cabinets, counters, backsplash, flooring, and lighting. We put the budget into the finishes you'll actually see and use every day — not into moving a wall nobody asked us to move. If your layout genuinely doesn't work we'll say so, but we won't sell you a demo you don't need.

04

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Most within-layout kitchen remodels take about three to six weeks, depending on scope and whether cabinets are new or refaced. New custom cabinets have a lead time before install even starts, so we plan around that. A cosmetic update — backsplash, counters, hardware — moves much faster. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the estimate.
